My name is Miriam Green, and I am the Elementary School Counselor at Lakeland Village for TK through 5th grade. This is my first year at Lakeland Village and I am excited to join the Bulldog family. Here is a little bit about me. Throughout my years involved with education, I have been fortunate enough to work in the K-12 setting and higher education. My passion for education began when I was young, and I saw the positive impact my parents had as teachers. I earned my Master of Science in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from CSU, Long Beach. I am committed as Lakeland Village's Elementary School Counselor to be an advocate for all of our students. The School Counseling program at Lakeland Village is a comprehensive program that supports the development of the whole child. This means that I will be providing all elementary students with a program that addresses the three domains of academics, social/emotional, and college/career. I recognize this may be a stressful time. I want you to know I am dedicated to serving all of our students here, and understand that they and you may need extra support from me.
